Minor slips into Nallah in Rafiabad village

Sopore, Jun 01 (KNO): A seven-year-old boy slipped into Nallah Pohru at Behrampora Rafiabad village in north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Monday morning, prompting authorities to start a major rescue operation.

Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that a seven-year-old boy identified as Farhan Fayaz Shagoo, son of Fayaz Ahmad Shagoo of Batapora Sopore was at his maternal home in the village. He slipped into the Nallah when he was playing with other kids there, they said.

Meanwhile sources told KNO that a team of police reached the spot and started rescue operation with the help of locals—(KNO)
