Srinagar, April 28: Atleast five persons were attacked and beaten by a stray dog on Monday in New Colony Lal Bazaar, causing panic in the area.
Locals of the area told JKNS that the stray dogs mauled five persons. They were immediately taken to hospitals and they are being treated for the injuries at the Soura hospital.
In Lal Bazaar area, a stray dog targeted 05 people, including children walking on the road.
Locals were gripped in panic as some even barged into random residences to save themselves from canine attack.
Residents have requested Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) to catch the dogs so that locals don’t live in fear.(JKNS)
