Ganderbal, Apr 27 (KNO): Three persons including two women who were hospitalized after testing positive for novel Coronavirus earlier, were on Monday discharged from District Hospital Ganderbal after testing negative.
Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the patients hailing from Guzhama area in Ganderbal were under thorough medical supervision since they tested positive and were discharged after they repeatedly proved negative for the deadly coronavirus.
Before sending them back to their destinations, a team of doctors briefed them about the do’s and don’ts and apprised them about precautionary measures to be followed during the next 14-days home quarantine that has to be maintained with utmost care, the official said.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal hailed the medical staff for their persistent and unfencing effort in combating the epidemic and hoped that all COVID-19 positive patients will recover soon and will be send back to their homes early.
He also said that health checkup of both the patients will be done by the surveillance teams regularly during home quarantine to ensure proper procedure is followed—(KNO)
